Women have made advances in the workplace in terms of earnings and position, but gains are slow and most are contingent upon other factors like living with management positions. Reportedly and statistically, more women around the world hold more management and higher-paying, male dominated positions. Discrimination in pay still plagues women, as well as opportunity, but subjective choice is also at issue.
