Martin Luther King's 'Letter from Birmingham Jail'.
This essay discusses Martin Luther King Jr.'s struggle against the forces of racism in his society. The paper shows that he did this by stressing the importance of non-violent disobedience. In his "Letter from a Birmingham Jail," he discussed the concept of having a social conscience. He saw the Federal Constitution as being mutually inclusive with the idea of civil disobedience. 5 pgs.
